With an emphasis on
(Applications on Quality Systems, Lean & Six Sigma)
To survive and grow in global markets, organizations will be required to develop customer focus strategy and involve employees in continuous quality improvement to continually improve Quality. Export trade demands high quality services and world-class products. It requires radical change in our traditional approaches. Management can bring about transformation and move towards Quality Organizational Excellence (O/E) by developing their employees in every function.
The Applied Diploma in Total Quality Management is intended for both Manufacturing and Service Industries. It offers participants a unique opportunity to enhance their skills in the area of Total Quality Management and introduces them to the modern tools and techniques necessary for establishing quality systems that satisfies the requirements of international standards.
The Applied Diploma in Total Quality Management is a three-semester program, with modules in the various aspects of modern quality management. The most important part of the study program is the implementation projects, which run throughout the semesters. Projects should be industry-based requiring students to spend one day per week working with their organizations on a quality related initiative.
1. Program Objectives
• To prepare participants to:
o Become successful quality managers in their organizations.
o Lead the quality activities at their organization through acquiring up-to-date knowledge and skills.
o Be an active member in quality planning and quality improvement project teams in their organization. The program provides hands-on training on how to use the quality tools and techniques to plan and implement such projects.
o Set for the qualifying exam of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and obtain its certificate “Certified Manager of Quality/Organization Excellence - CMQ/OE”. For more information, Please visit the website www.asq.org
