
Edexcel and the University of Greenwich have developed a partnership which enables learners of Egypt to progress to an MBA degree.
All study for the qualification will be by means of Supported Open Learning, a combination of tutored study and online learning, so that learners will be enrolled at Career Gates and there is no requirement for learners to live in the UK at any stage.
Entry Requirements:
Depending on the applicant’s qualifications, the Learner starts from level 5 or directly from level 7.
Admission Requirements for Professional degree (Edexcel level 5)
1. The applicant must have a BA or B.Sc. degree
2. The completed application packet include:

C. Letter of reference
D. The English Language Acquisition Test (ELAT)* score

Admission Requirements for Advanced degree (Edexcel level 7)
1. BA in Business Administration, B.Sc. with minor Business degree, or university degree with 3 years managerial work experience from an English educational institution of recognized standing
2. The completed application packet include:
A. Application form

C. A statement of reasons for applying to the program (750 words)
D. Letter of reference
E. The English Language Acquisition Test (ELAT)* score
F. Personal ID
G. Application fees’ receipt
Program description
Level 5 and 7 are each divided into three parts that build up on each other.
• After completing 3 units of either level the Leaner is eligible for an “Award” from Edexcel.
• After completion of another 3 units the Learner is eligible for a “Certificate” from Edexcel.
• And upon completion of the final 3 units and depending on the level learners receive:
- Edexcel Level 5 BTEC Professional Diploma in Management Studies OR
- Edexcel Level 7 BTEC Advanced Professional Diploma in Management Studies.
• After LEVEL 7 Learners are eligible for direct entry to Stage 3 of the MBA.

Stage 3 courses delivery
The courses will be delivered on-line by means of Supported Open Learning (SOL). SOL is designed to guide the personal learning experience rather than relying on traditional methods such as lectures. Open learners decide when and where they learn, giving them control of the process and allowing them to tailor it to meet their personal situation. In addition to regular interaction, on-line support of resources and tutors is available.
